 Tasting Notes :
Live and intense deep ruby colour. On the nose, elegant and complex with notes of ripe red fruits, blackberry and dried plums. Excellent balance between Frenchoak and fruit. On the palate, intense, full, rich and expressive. Round with elegant tannins, which leads through to a very long and harmonious finish. Itclearly shows the exceptional terroir of Los Lingues

40% Carmenere, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 
15% Syrah, 15% PetitVerdot.

Pre-selected micro-terroir plots from Viña Casa Silva’s Los Lingues Estate located at the foot of the Andes Mountains in the Colchagua Valley. An extremely dry terroir with a unique temperature micro-climate and almost
no morning dew thanks to the local Andean breeze. Exceptional soils of alluviocolluvial origin with great drainage.

Grapes 100% hand picked in small trays, preselected in thevineyard according
to quality classification and ripeness. Harvest dates:
Cabernet Sauvignon:  11th April - 12th April
Camenere : 3th April - 7 th April
Shyrah : 28th March - 5 th April
Petit vedot : 7th April - 11 April

Vini cation:
 Grapes cooled down below 5°C upon arrival at the winery.Hand sorting of grapes both before and after destemming.Pre-fermentative maceration for 12 days at 6-8ºC. Alcoholic fermentationof each varietalseparately in 500l rotating barrels for 14days at 28º-30ºC. Post fermentation maceration for 8 to 12 days. Malolactic fermentation and ageing in new French oak. Selection of the best barrels to define the exact blend. Further ageing for 3 months in barrel for the final cuvée after blending.

100% of the wine isaged in new French oak barrels for 14 months. 

Food pairings:
Delicious with pheasant and venison, it goes perfectly with seasoned meats such as fillet steak, duck à l’orange and roast lamb with rosemary. Or enjoy this elegant wine with a juicy beef Wellington.
